Effects of Different Conditions on Growth of Tobacco Ralstonia Solanacearum

    • Ralstonia solanacearum is a one of tobacco bacterial wilt pathogens. In order to identify strategies of effective prevention and treatment of bacterial wilt, the effects of different culture conditions, including pH, temperature, N, P, K, Zn2+, Cu2+, Ca2+, Mg2+, HCO3-, SO42- on the growth of R. solanacearum were investigated. The results showed that R. solanacearum grew better in slight acidic or alkali condition. The optimum growth temperature of R. solanacearum was between 25 and 45 ℃. High concentrations of Zn2+ and Cu2+ could inhibit the growth of R. solanacearum.
