Effect of Various Commercial Manures on Production of Green Tobacco

In order to improve soil characters and the quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, three types of commercial manures were evaluated for green tobacco production. The results showed that the application of oil seed cake, rubber seed cake and peat promoted the development of tobacco plants, enhanced the disease resistance, improved economical characters as well as he appearance quality and chemical components. In conclusion, the application of the commercial manures can result in better performance, which suggest they can be used in green tobacco production.
