Abstract
In order to choose suitable crops intercropping with flue-cured tobacco for controlling tobacco black shank disease. Field experiments were carried out to study the effects of different intercropping crops on tobacco black shank disease. Results showed that the trends of soil Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae number and tobacco black shank disease index were the same, with the order being intercropping with garlic ryegrass> peanut. Results also indicated that garlic was a better crop intercropping with flue-cured tobacco for controlling tobacco black shank disease.
