Simplified and High Efficiency Tobacco Cultivation Technology and its Development Strategy

Abstract: With the advance of modern tobacco agriculture, simplified and labor saving cultivation have increasing potential in tobacco production in China. In order to save cost, lower consumption, improve quality, increase economic benefit, and streamline production processes, reduce labor intensity and save working hours, the authors investigated the related research status and advances of simplified and labor saving cultivation, including intensive seeding, mechanized operation, precision fertilization and irrigation, whole course chemical regulation and simplified curing. The application perspective and developing direction of simplified and labor saving cultivation techniques of tobacco in the future were also discussed.
