Advance in Continuous Cropping Problems of Tobacco

Much attention has been paid to the decrease of tobacco quantities and qualities through the continuous cropping. The mechanism of continuous cropping obstacles was reviewed with regards to soil nutrient unbalance, accumulation of roots exudates, and change of soil micro-environment and soil microbial flora. The counter-measures were also reviewed in controlling the obstacles of tobacco continuous cropping. Possible future researches were also proposed in this paper.
