A Preliminary Study on APEX-10 in Organic Tobacco Production

A field experiment was conduct to investigated the effect of natural organic liquid biological nutrient APEX-10 from USA on organic tobacco production in Chenzhou, Hunan province. The results showed that APEX-10 could increase the tobacco plant height, stem width, leaf length and width, reducing sugar and chlorophyll contents in fresh leaves. APEX-10 also increased cured leaf yield 600 kg/ha, or by 53.33%. APEX-10 stimulated tobacco root growth and obviously increased microbial activities in rhizosphere and soil available nitrogen, zinc and boron contents.
