Abstract
Field experiments were conducted to investigate nitrogen uptake and utilization of flue-cured tobacco with 3 and 5 continuous cropping years, so as to understand the effect of continuous planting of tobacco on nitrogen and utilization. The results showed that, with or without fertilizer application, nitrogen accumulation of flue-cured tobacco were lower in 5 year continuous planting than those of 3 years. and Nitrogen fast accumulation for 5 year continuous planting defer for 2 weeks than those of 3 years. Nitrogen use efficiency for 3 year continuous planting was 10.6% higher than those of 5 years.
