Effects of Soil Physical and Chemical Properties on Tobacco Bacterial Wilt in Enshi

    • The relationship between occurrence rate of tobacco bacterial wilt at various severities and soil physical and chemical properties was analyzed to investigate the possible cause of the disease occurrence. The results showed that there were close relationship between soil physical and chemical properties and bacterial wilt. The incidence index increased with increasing soil temperature, humidity and compaction, but decreased with increasing soil available potassium, pH, bicarbonate, sulfate and CEC.
