On the basis of survey on professional cooperatives of tobacco planters in Sichuan Province, the current situation of the cooperatives development and operation were briefly described, the role of cooperative for tobacco industry development was selectively analyzed, its constraints were studied, and the standardization development countermeasures and suggestions were proposed.
