    植物类萜代谢及其在烟草中的研究进展

    Plant Terpenoid Metabolism and Recent Advance in Tobacco

    • 摘要: 摘 要:类萜是从植物中分离出的一类类异戊二烯物质,其中挥发萜类物质直接影响着植物的芳香品质。对烟草类萜生物合成及其代谢调控的最新研究进展进行了综述,探讨了代谢过程中的关键酶基因及操纵类萜生物合成途径以提高产量的几种可能的策略,展望了通过基因工程改良烟草香气品质的可行性和重要性。

       

      Abstract: Abstract: Terpenoid is a class of isoprenoids isolated from plants, of which volatile terpenoids are directly involved in aroma formation in plants. In this article, an up-to-date review on the terpenoid biosynthesis and its metabolic regulation in tobacco were given. The genes encoding the key enzymes in the metabolic pathway, and subsequently which genes in the terpenoid biosynthetic pathway could be manipulated genetically, aiming at higher production levels of terpenes in tobacco, was discussed. It is clear that improvement of tobacco flavor quality through genetic engineering will become available and meaningful.
